Membership in San Francisco Beekeepers comes with many benefits, including discounts on class tuition, access to club-purchased beepacks, nucs and queens;  extractor and other equipment rental; an invite to the member-only Q&A forum; and free admission to popular annual events — not to mention advice & support from fellow beekeepers throughout the year. All SFBA memberships renew automatically on their anniversary date each year, but you can cancel or switch your membership level at any time by logging into this website and going to your Profile page. (Sorry, we do not offer refunds for early cancellation; this is to prevent someone from joining only long enough to take advantage of a member benefit and then canceling.) Plus, since SFBA is a registered 501c3 charity, your dues may be tax-deductible depending on your circumstances. Consult IRS rules or your tax advisor for details.
