A two-part beekeeping course to help you successfully keep bees healthy and alive. It's real-world, Northern California beekeeping training -- and very affordable, especially for SFBA members.

In Part 1: Essential Equipment, you will learn what equipment you will need to keep bees successfully – tools, hive boxes, protective gear and more. Whether you've never kept bees or had bees in the past, there's lots to learn.

In Part 2: Basic Beekeeping, you'll build on your knowledge from the first class while absorbing best practices for urban beekeeping, all with the goal of having your bees stay happy and healthy throughout the year. If conditions allow, we will do a live hive inspection.

Register NOW for both classes by clicking the button at left! Or, for more details, please click here.
